About Us

Solomon Francis, a native New Yorker transitioned from Brooklyn, New York to Virginia over ten years ago. After attending college in North Carolina, he began working in the court reporting field in New York City in the early 1990s. After getting his footing in the field, he opened up Legal Eye Media in 2004 transitioning from New York City to Washington D.C. Solomon attained his certification as a Certified Legal Video Specialist (CLVS) from The National Court Reporters Association (NCRA). Since then he has worked diligently to make depositions his business.

As a Certified Legal Video Specialist (CLVS), Solomon has traveled the world to places like England, Thailand, Africa, Sweden and Bosnia to provide multi-media depositions, remote/mobile videoconferencing, witness prep and mock depositions, postproduction and editing, courtroom playback, day in the life, site inspections and media conversion duplications. Solomon provides professional and accuracy in any of the services he has provided for his clients over the years.

On a philanthropic side, Solomon is a track coach with Special Olympics, Area 17 supporting the athletes in his community, and he also participates in fundraising opportunities like Polar Plunge in order to raise awareness and funding for Area 17.

Solomon is also an avid cyclist and competes when time permits. He also enjoys time with his family. He finds his source of inspiration and strength from his family.
